Brought into our product line to meet the needs of customers who owned cameras without the standard shoe base adaptor, such as the new micro sized tapeless video cameras, this was the perfect solution for mounting an on-camera video light. A common question about our S-50 dual shoe base adaptor is: "Can I still use my tripod with it". The answer is emphatically YES, you can. That's because the screw-knob has another 1/4 inch tripod hole threaded in the bottom of it. This means you don't lose the ability to use a tripod with our S-50 Adaptor.
