It pans a full 355 degrees. You can operate it by using the provided Joystick Control Unit (included), or you can operate it automatically, by setting the preset pan limits to scan only the areas you want to monitor. Just set the pan and tilt to automatic and forget it. Use with inexpensive Cat-5 (network cable with 8 wires - unit uses only 6, but this is the most economical cable approach because of Cat-5's low cost and availability) Requires NO SOLDERING, and installation is a breeze with provided EZ Crimp Connectors! 50 feet of control cable is provided. We've successfully run these extensions up to 500 feet.

About the only thing you compromise, in comparison to far more expensive models, is the ability to under-sling the camera (hanging the camera from the bottom of the jib or crane rather than mounting it on top), most all other features are virtually identical to systems selling for well over $1,000.00 . A specially engineered Joystick Controller which controls all functions of the Pan Head. The Joystick is mounted to the handle of a crane, jib, tripod or wherever and can be easily extended by adding extension cables. You may purchase these or easily configure your own using simple CAT-5 Network Cable. 50 feet of control cable is provided. We've successfully run these extensions up to 500 feet. Mounts easily to a tripod or bracket (standard 1/4 inch hole at bottom of Pan and Tilt), or safely flat mount most any surface or may be wall mounted with standard wall mount bracket. Pan and Tilt powers up the CAT-5 Cable and Uses solderless connections making installation a snap!
