Our SX-150 marks a significant improvement over the LX-150 On-Camera Video Light. In addition to operating at three different wattages (as our LX-150); 50, 100 and 150 (at AC) this amazing light also features a flip down diffuser and CTB filter.

This CTB 5600K filter is major enhancement that converts the 3200 Degree Kelvin (indoor) light that the fixture produces to 5600 K daylight. This is important when shooting outdoors and using the SX-150 as fill light, because it balances all light to daylight.

It is also important when shooting with fluorescent or HMI light as these light sources are all balanced to the 5600 Kelvin daylight color. Your SX-150 will match these lights perfectly. You’ll notice a significant improvement in image quality the moment you flip down the CTB daylight filter in these shooting situations.

There are several battery options available from a single battery pack to a dual fanny pack that allows you to actually dim the light.

The fixture mounts to the standard shoe base of most cameras. No shoe base, no problem. That’s because we also include a dual shoe base adaptor that screws into the bottom of your camera (using the standard tripod hole) then provides not only a handle, but also two shoe base adaptors. One can be used for the light, the other for any other accessory that uses the standard shoe base.

The SX-150 fixture becomes a powerful 150 watt AC light, complete with built in filter and diffuser that can also mount to a light stand or as a fully portable light, using the battery pack at 50 and 100 Watts. You’ll be amazed at the performance of this system -especially its very affordable price!
