Our Matte Box features both 16x9 and 4x3 mattes for varying aspect ratios and hence can be used with a large variety of cameras in both SD and HD formats. The included French Flag attaches to the top of the matte box, while the Side Flags attach to the sides of the mattebox via knurled thumbscrews.

The two removable 4" x 4" filter trays allow you to use a wide variety of 4" x 4" filters and can be rotated a full 360 degrees to facilitate easy filter changes, or for use with polarizers and/or graded filters.

The Foam Rubber Lens Rings protect your lens from contact with the Matte Box, providing isolation from bumps and sudden movements. Six foam rings are included to accommodate all lens sizes. If none of the pre-cut rings match your lens, simply cut the included plain disk to the correct size.

Our MX-7000 Mattebox mounts on any 15mm rails with 60mm center-to-center spacing. RAILS ARE NOT INCLUDED.
