Both the ARRI Light and the 800 Watt BluLine Lights feature a true Focusable Lamp Fixture. They are Spot & Flood Focusable. That means that you can Spot Down to a Narrow Beam Pattern increasing the intensity of the lamp or "flood it out" to a wider pattern with lower spot intensity.
Lighting Directors and Directors of Photography have long known the value of this type of flexibility in light intensity and pattern and these lights can be configured for use on stands (provided with each light) or to be hung on a ceiling light grid. All fixtures come with plugs too! (another option elsewhere) NOTE: They will be provided with standard Edison Plugs (the type you see on standard US wall sockets) or as TwistLock, (at your specific request) most commonly used in Theatrical and Studio applications when hung on a grid or truss system. Please let us know if you need the TwistLock style.
At the heart of the system is the famous ARRI 650 Watt True Fresnel Light. It features a true Fresnel Lens, invented by Augustin Fresnel in the mid 1800s. This light combines beautifully with our BluLine 800 Watts to give you power and performance never before possible at this price point.
We've also engineered a fixture that is virtually identical in design and parallel in performance to the ARRI series of Fresnel Fixtures. Our BluLine True Fresnels (which also feature the same lens) are available in 150, 300, 650, and 1000 Watt versions. A 2000 Watt Version is available by special order.
